The screw stepper motor, or linear stepper motor, is rotated by the magnetic rotor iron core through the interaction with the pulsed electromagnetic field generated by the stator, and the screw stepper motor converts the rotary motion into linear motion inside the motor.
The basic principle of this motor: a screw and a nut are engaged, and some method is used to prevent the relative rotation of the screw and nut, so that the screw is moved axially. Generally speaking, there are currently two ways to achieve this transformation. The first is to build a rotor with an internal thread in the motor, and the internal thread of the rotor and the screw are meshed to achieve linear motion. The second is to use the screw as the motor shaft, and the external driving nut and the screw are engaged by an external driving nut to realize linear motion. The result is a greatly simplified design, enabling the use of lead screw stepper motors for precise linear motion without the need for external mechanical linkages in many applications.

Detailed explanation of the use of the screw stepper motor:
1. When the screw stepper motor is working, each phase winding is not energized constantly, but is energized in turn according to a certain law.
2. The angle rotated by the rotor for each input of a pulse electrical signal is called the step angle.
3. The screw stepper motor can control the angle according to the specific command, and also can control the speed. In angle control, each time a pulse is input, the stator winding is switched once, and the output shaft rotates through an angle. The number of steps is consistent with the number of pulses, and the angular displacement of the output shaft is proportional to the input pulse. During speed control, continuous pulses are fed into the windings of the stepper motor, each phase winding is continuously energized, and the stepper motor rotates continuously, and its speed is proportional to the pulse frequency.
